You might be thinking the best time to reach out to your broker to prepare to list your home in March, April, or May (peak sale season) would be a few weeks or maybe a month ahead of time. Or if you're really ambitious, then right after the holidays. However, the best prepped clients start the process two seasons in advance... during the beautiful bounty of Fall.

Why Fall?

You'd be hard pressed to find someone over the age of 25 who doesn't have a home search app downloaded onto their phone in Portland. Once upon a time we found ourselves swiping for romance, now we swipe for the perfect kitchen. And as is common knowledge, those with the best pics get the coveted "swipe-right".

Because of that, we are gearing our clients more and more to let us help them put their best face forward with an Autumn glamour- shot, photo sesh. Typically photos are done the week you list a home on the market, and that's still true for our Spring listings. But we don't like leaving anything to chance with our notoriously unpredictable Spring weather here in the Pacific Northwest.
